Comcast or Xfinity whatever ******** you call em nowadays really some janky ass shady business people. IDK why I even got cable again sometimes but I guess cuz my internet bundled with it. And they customer service people is rude; this lady lucky it's the Lord's day.

The joys of apartment living mean that thereโs only Comcast Business here BUT I do have a cellular backup link. The big issue is getting failover to work since nobody will give a consumer their own AS and BGP announce filters. Longer term I think Iโm gonna tunnel everything

Hey @comcastcares, your customer service is awful. We're just trying to ADD cable to our home internet and phone. It's taking hours, your billing and tech staff can't coordinate, and we are miserable. Great job! @swinshall

@comcastcares The internet is working again, for the moment. We go offline at least twice a day, so we are due one more. Don't know if is router or just bad wiring. I suspect a combination of both.

My neighborhood has our own nonprofit fiber network; every house is wired & pays a minimum network infrastructure fee. The vast majority also get service (up to a gig for 70 bucks). Not surprisingly, Comcast's internet prices here are lower than any neighborhood I've lived in.
