I used TD Retail to partially finance a Samsung phone. I set up automatic payments. That was in October. Everything was fine until the end of January when I got an email saying I'd missed a payment. I tried getting into my account to make the payment but couldn't remember my password. I clicked on 'forgot password', but in order to reset it I needed my account number. Since I couldn't get into my account, I didn't know it. I tried calling customer service, but again needed my account number. After several days of trying to get things fixed, I got another message saying I had been reported to a collection agency. Because of this, my credit score dropped from over 800 to below 700. Never again. I'm attempting to cancel my account now that everything is paid off, but there's nothing on the website telling how to do it.

Horrible customer service. I've been dealing with this company for over a year. I thought getting a Samsung phone financed would be a good idea. Boy, was I wrong. They intentionally charge the wrong account number to incur late fees. I've never had an issue processing my payment with any other credit card company, but this one is unreal. I can literally hear the customer service representative rolling her eyes at my complaint over the phone. I'm making two large payments soon just to close my account. I will never get anything financed with TD Retail Services or buy Samsung products ever again. I'll go back to paying cash from now on!

No plans on having an account with them ever again! After purchasing numerous items through Samsung financial for several thousands of dollars, and never having an issue with payments, they closed my account because I changed the bank fromwhere I made my automatic payments. They dropped my limit to $9, and then in February of 2024, they added insult to injury by closing my account. Then in March, I got a WalletHub report that they reopened my account. What the heck?

I've purchased furniture at Raymour & Flanigan and got credit through TD Bank, and they've been harassing me for years, saying I still owe them money, which I always paid off with my tax refund. I made an arrangement to pay an amount that Raymour, after stating it was paid in full, which now they're saying it wasn't, to rectify the situation. But they again hired another collection agency and are asking for the full amount. It's an ongoing con game, and they're crooks, and I hope someone stops this criminal act!

When I first got the card years ago, it was great. Now, they changed the website to make payments on about a year ago but didn't tell anyone. I tried logging in over and over to change my password, but it just kept saying I wasn't a customer. Every month was an adventure. The last straw for me was making a payment by phone last month and then getting a letter stating they received no payment. I have the call in my history and the time spent on the phone. I had to speak with a supervisor to get the late charge removed, paid off the balance, and said I'm out of here. Cancel my card; this place is a joke.

100% the worst experience in decades
- Only options available to pay are checking/savings account (no debit, credit, etc.)
- No immediate method to validate if the account information provided was correct in their system (it accepts what is entered with no errors, indicates a payment is made and then rejects it)
- When their system rejects the payment, you get a $36 fee
I have never had so much trouble trying to make a payment in my life, and I'm sure they'll go after my credit rating (through no fault of my own) next. I call it a scam.

Customer Service is nonexistent. Do not believe any promotional offers you receive, as they will not be honored. This organization is run by obtuse individuals who have no concept of the level of service offered by their competition. Only a fool would tolerate the lack of concern TD Card Services has for their customers and their own lack of integrity.

If you are trying to build credit, then do not go with TD. They will delay the process as the secured card requires a hard inquiry to transition from being a secured option. Even if you have no delinquent accounts, this card service provider may inaccurately claim that you do and fail to provide clear explanations. Be careful with this provider.

WORST FINANCING COMPANY EVER!!! I’m on top of all of my finances & this is the worst experience with TRYING to make my payments . Them having a customer service team is POINTLESS. They do not help you with setting up your payment , or making your payment ! This is a money hungry company will place NSF charges on your account when you have more than enough to make a payment & will charge you late fees when you are trying to make payments but there system will decline. TD Retail is the only company that will punish you for making payments on time. My experience have been so horrible I will now be researching these financing companies before hand!
If you’ve read this TAKE THE ADVICE DON’T DO IT.

Terrible customer service and they provide inconsistent information. I purchased furniture with Raymour & Flanigan. I explained that all correspondence needed to be via email, because I would be out of the country. That did not happen. Raymour & Flanigan blames TD; TD blames Raymour & Flanigan. Upon returning realized what happened and paid. I called and I was told not to worry. TD dinged my credit and refuse to fix it. Steer clear of anything related to TD. What an evil, evil company.

Worst experience of any credit service I hv ever had. They entered in my account number incorrectly and when my payment didn’t go through they charged me a late fee and reported it to my credit my very first full month with the service. Dropping my credit score from 735 to 687!! When I complained they reimbursed the late fee but have no clue who I need to speak with to get the late fee removed from my credit!

The Yard card is very useful. It allows you to make purchases for lawn or yard equipment, and allows 6 months same as cash financing.
