Tetrimino Tetris Game for Kids Video Game Play Instructions

• Starting the Game
  • At the center of the welcome screen:
    • Select Play to begin.
    • Select How to Play to open the game’s tutorial.
  • On the top right corner of the welcome screen:
    • Select the speaker button on the left to turn the game’s sound effects on or off.
    • Select the music button on the right to turn the game’s music on or off.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard:
      • Press the A key or the left arrow key to move the block left.
      • Press the D key or the right arrow key to move the block right.
      • Press the W key or up arrow to rotate the block.
      • Press the space bar to jump. You can jump repeatedly.
      • Press the S key or down arrow to signal that the block can be dropped.
      • Press the E key or right control key to store a block and swap between stored and active ones.
      • Press the R or right shift keys together to respawn the tiny guide.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Although this game might load on touchscreen devices, its controls were optimized for desktops with keyboards.

  • Basic rules
    • The goal of this game is similar to classic Tetris.
      • Move the blocks (tetrominos) that gradually descend and place them as neatly as you can on the bottom of the screen.
        • Form a complete line of blocks to clear them from the screen.
        • You can create up to 4 complete lines at once.
      • Earn points for every set of lines you clear.
      • As you play, the blocks start moving faster.
      • Store blocks to use them for later.
        • Storing your first block means you must lay down the next one.
        • To use a stored block, swipe it out for the current one.
    • The main difference is that there is now a tiny creature moving directing the blocks.
      • The block moves along with this tiny guide.
      • The tiny guide must look for and stand at the place where the block should be dropped.
      • Lock in the position to give the tiny guide a chance to leave before the block drops.
      • Make the tiny guide leave the spot within a matter of seconds to avoid getting squished or trapped.
    • Each time the tiny guide is squished, he instantly comes back.
      • You can also force respawn to let the tiny guide out if they’re ever trapped.
      • While the game hints that you have a limited number of lives, this is not the case.
    • The game ends when the block stack reaches the top.
